The naming of the vessel with the names of the terrorists is obviously done deliberately.

Can't really fault the Indonesian on this. We have not been a very good neighbor by helping US spy on Indonesia and very likely this a retaliation by Indonesia.

In actual fact, playing up this issue by PAP is also done deliberately. If their real intention is to ask Indonesian to rename the vessels, it would be far more easier to engage in quiet diplomacy. Most actions in diplomacy are conducted behind the scene, what u see on the surface is only for show. By going on a high profile protest, it will only serve to politicize the issue making it even harder for Indonesian gov to accede to PAP's demand.

From here we can only conclude that the real intention of PAP is not about a change of name but to distract public from domestic issues.

True. But in the event of war, Indonesia did threaten to block the waterways and ports where these countries get their exports and imports. In such an event, they would be very interested. Anyways, I've known people in Western countries who've had enough of Islam and want nothing better to do than to slay what they call bagheads. Err.... sorry to burst your bubble. But Benny was a Roman Catholic, so he can eat bacon all day long. :-) BJ was living in Germany for many years, in fact his son is german, and in those days, not easy to find halal food there. Now with so many Turks, finding Halal food is no problem. But back than, he could be forgiven for eating the odd Bratwurst or pork hock. LOL
