I have never believed in giving people a free lunch, even if they are opposition candidates standing in your ward.

The need to break PAP's dominance is a poor excuse, in my opinion, to vote in an opposition candidate that is unelectable.

The PAP will control all levers of government whether you vote in 5,10 or even 15 Harban Singhs. But those Harban Singhs will tar the opposition and delay the process in the long run.

Moving two decades forward from Harban Singh's time, I'm talking about candidates like Kenneth Jeyaretnam or Desmond Lim.

Arrogant beyond belief, and ultimate spoilers, if you ask me.

I'd rather the $13,500 MP allowance goes to the PAP than to them. At least I know the PAP builds community child-care centres and such stuff.

I don't know whether either of those two jokers will stand in my ward, but i know if they do my choice will be between spoiling my vote and outright casting a cheque for the PAP.

I don't need to vote oppostion because I owe nothing to no one, and like many other Singapore citizens, I vote according to who serves me best, not some abstract political notion like "denying the PAP".

actually if some active SBF opposition members appear less in the forum, they will still earn some votes. I believe CST & LTK are just as cock as GMS, but they will continue to win my support for simple reason, they dun exposed their weakness and stupidity to the public like GMS:D

I will vote for Goh Meng Seng, Low thia khiang and chiam see tong, but not the two arrogant pricks I mentioned.

I had the impression that you were supportive of RP and KJ. Anyway sentiments on people (nearly) alike, I have to disagree with your call. This is because your call is inaccurate - it should not be to vote PAP if the opposition is no good, but to abolish elections in Singapore.

Go do the maths. You probably think very few opposition candidates meet your criteria. In that case, PAP will take every seat. If PAP takes every seat, might as well not have elections.

The PAP lost billions in less than 3 years, consistently one bad investments after another. In the long run, SG will be bankrupted and all your assets and savings will be worthless. Think of the big picture.

fuckup party like nsp is definitely unelectable..they tink setting up dis lame 'malay bureau' will guarantee them the malay vote in tampines...LOL...nsp wanto play racial politics with MIW, guess who will get burnt at the end.. NSP pls take ur racial politics elsewhere, dont sabo tampines and deprive other oppo party chances...fuck off if u r not serious here.:oIo:

I will vote in any TOM DICK HARRY MPs who is willing to question and ask PAP their policy !

PAP kindergarten ? WP also wanted to build kindergarten to rival PAP PCF childcare, but it was being rejected by some not so logical reasoning from PAP.

there are more arrogant pricks than pap dogs:confused::cool:

as long as it is not pap brand, they will get my vote. good try though:cool:

The situation is so dire that any candidate is better than a PAP candidate. I will vote opposition even if he is a one eyed retard. If I get to vote.

The PAP has their own Harbans Singh in Lim Swee Say. A joker and an embecile to boot. Lim Swee Say comes up with the most daft ideas and dresses up for his role rather well too. Even Harbans Singh would have lost to Lim Swee Say as the role of the poltical clown.

Then there is Vivian who can't even manage a decent budget. And Mah Bok Tan who got caught off guard by the influx of foreign workers, PRs and new citizens even though this has been happening for more than a decade.

The list of PAP jokers and incompetent toads are too many to list.

I would rather vote for the APs than a PAP candidate who calls citizens daft out in the open. What do you think they call you behind closed doors!

I would rather politicians who tell the truth out right rather than to hoodwink us. I would rather have the AP as the government so that we can have a free press to report, indulge and study our society and economy freely so that we know the true picture rather than to be bombarded by propaganda.

I would rather have the AP as the government so that we can have a thinking society rather than the one we now have where we are told by propaganda machines what is right and what is the truth as seen by a small group of people.

What's your beef with KJ? More intelligence, finese and class as compared to your M S Goh here.

The qn might not be directed at me, but I have a beef with his intelligent incoherence, finesse with labels like liar, hypocrite, hoodwinking, attacking his party when I or anyone else offer suggestions and class of rude labels.

He left very rude remarks on people's Facebooks until probably told to stop. He added people he didn't know to spread RP's word and they kind to approve his request, but didn't expect that.

You probably not aware that nearly all the who's who in civil society and opposition had public spats with him. That includes leaders of TOC, SDP affiliates and people in SPP. Some others in WP, NSP and New Asia Rep including GMS are just closing one eye and being tolerant, but poor NAR editor got left and right, still tried to sound nice because he didn't have many avenues left.

I've not seen a party chief act like a sec sch boy. In the past, SDP had people to do it. Nevertheless I will vote any opposition.

Make all of these off the cuff remarks. LSS has got more intelligence than the entire NSP combined. His ideas are spot on, just that they hurt people like you. To that I say: :oIo:

Vivian did well for YOG, and the price is nothing. 4 million population? A mere $100 a head you make so much noise?

Because of Mah Bow Tan, many members of my family have happily upgraded their HDB flats to condos with more than 50% paid. You missed the boat? Too bad and :oIo:
