It will be a great honour and pleasure to meet up with our legend Lee Kuan Yew. He is a phenomenon figure to Singapore, majority of the Singaporeans will respect and love him. 3 cheers for our great legend and our PAP government. 
Saying it’s long term investment just doesn’t cut it. What is long term ? Does this mean they will not sell poor performing stocks and invest in one with better earnings. I do hope they are not holding on to poor performing stocks just to save face.
I would appreciate if they come clean and says they made some bad investment and they are working on improving their research and analysis to make better investment decisions. Perhaps engaging more industry specific expert to get more in-depth analysis. The new CEO should offer a lot on the mining industry
It is not fair to expect them to make good investment all the time but they should do a lot better than most if not all fund manages or investors because they have a lot more resources as they are Gov’t owned. They should regularly publish benchmark reports on their investment earnings against major fund managers and market indices. Temasek should not be judge on individual investment but rather on these benchmarks and total earnings.
We can’t blame LKY for everything that go wrong. This is Ho Ching responsibility and she has already step down. I hope the new management have the guts to sell poor performing stocks and invest in better ones. It will be a disappointment if LKY with all his political capital allows saving face to be an issue and not support the new management in making sound investment.
A point of concern may be pressure from USA not to sell the banking stocks we hold as it will have a severe effect on their banking system.
