ALMK, not sure if this is in your itinerary. Visit Dan Shui (淡水). I find it quite a nice and romantic place though it was 1996 I visited the place. Quite different from Taipei itself.

The MRT will terminate at Dan Shui.

Now at Taichung, suppose to go tomorrow morning but decided to hit Taichung at night, less traffic, will explore Taichung for the day, then next early morning will go to the fish port and go back Taipei again before getting a flight to HK at Taoyuan.

A friend ask me to go tan shui to eat seafood, but I saw the brochure, like a lot of heritage places? Not on my list leh, my main aim is to eat and eat, I think in 2 days, I ate at least 25 kind of food liao, a bit constipated, so maybe tomorrow will slow down a bit, lol
