I know it must be very tough for yr generation, even a mopping up op is expected to be a tea party. But it would not be tough for me. I expect blood, gore, even death in war. If you are properly trained and conscientiously doing yr reservist, it wont be a walk in the park but you'll make it. Is that too tough?
My generation? Sorry, like you, I already RODed.
Seems like you have comprehension problems or amnesia. It was YOU who asked "how tough can it get". I never said it was a walk in the park. I said it was tough.
I will not attack you personally by calling you a bold faced liar. But it's painfully obvious from your constant twisting of your own words, your aerial D- Day via tanks and Chinooks (which you called double whirlies), your bunker busting Patriots, confusion between political will and military might in Vietnam, your trying to impress Papsmearer with your "DEFCON" knowledge, etc etc, that something does not add up.
I personally know someone who was not highly educated, was not an officer or specialist, was not well versed in military matters but was involved in higher ops planning and wargames. He was the CO runner
