While Singapore is opening its door to get in all kinds of “junks” here (karanguni man?), Australia has just announced that they are tightening their immigration rules following a big outcry from Australian citizens there. We must ask ourselves this important question:


Why is it that Australian govt listens to their citizens but Singapore govt refuses to?

THE federal government will consider slashing Australia’s annual migration intake to help tackle concerns about traffic congestion, housing, hospitals, water and the environment.


Just months after declaring himself in favour of a ”big Australia”, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd yesterday warned of ”legitimate concerns” with population growth and appointed Agriculture Minister Tony Burke as Australia’s first Population Minister. Mr Burke has been given a year to develop the country’s first population plan, including a review of immigration levels.

The PAPies have run the economy to the ground and have no ideas whatsoever other than to enrich themselves. It's like a bunch of thieves looting their own town before it falls to the enemy.

Without the influx of FTs, property prices would have dropped after the great recession and continued spiralling to meet true market demand. That would lead to a huge drop in our GDP. And the kuniang, hoodwinking PAPies want to hoodwink te populace that GDP is a good number to use to gauge citizen welfare. :oIo:

Give the PAPies another 5 years and even worse will happen to Singaporeans and the country.

Why is it that Australian govt listens to their citizens but Singapore govt refuses to?

The answer is very simple. If the OZ govt does not show that it's listening, the electorate will remove them at the next election.

However, for some strange reason, Sinkies have voted for the PAP at every election for the last 50 years regardless of how the govt screws them.

The PAP have absolute power and need not have to listen to its citizen. Especially when many citizens are not given the right to vote because of the GRC system and an uneven playing field tilted against opposition parties.

If the majority of Singaporeans wanted the PAP out, there would be absolutely no problem finding candidates to oppose the govt.

The fact of the matter is that the majority of Sinkies are very content with their lives and see no reason why they should dabble in politics when the govt does such a good job in making life in Singapore comfortable, profitable and secure.

With $400+billion in the coffers and they still want 65+ people to work?!?!?!?!

When land is scarce, the PAP allows rich foreigners to purchase mutiple properties.

Without educating sufficient doctors, building sufficient homes, building sufficient transportation and creating sufficient healthcare for the entire population, they allow millions of FTs onto the land. :oIo:

Vote the PAPies out. You have no choice!

our combined oppositions should get around 40% nationwide votes this coming GE. Increased votes might not result in more seats but I can't believe after so much peasants unhappiness, PAP bad policies, our oppositions can't get 40% votes.

What Kevin understans is whether the infrasructure is able to support a large influx of FTs which the PAPies understand and yet don't care! :oIo:

There are insufficient hospital beds for the population and patients ahve to sleep along the corridor and wait for months before seeing an specialist doctor.

There is insufficient infrastructure for the MRT, buses, jobs to cater for the influx of FTs.

Vote the PAP out of Singapore!

Simple.. In SG, the major party does not need your vote.. they control the govt and court house & have the flexibility to impose any rules/law to disadvantage undesirable candidates.. They'll bring 'fear' to you.. or cut & paste the facade to make them look good.. They educate you (in school) to 'listen'.. train you (in NS) to 'obey'..
