I don't think there should be a minimum deposit at all and everyone should be free to take part ( ex convicts, current convicts and bankrupts )

A Parliament is the democratic will of the peoples.

If the constituency decide to vote into parliament a O'level bankrupt currently facing several corruptions charges over a typical well-educated professional. we must respect those wishes and good luck to the constituency.

Problem is we'll end up with slipper clowns whom we need a deposit they can lose. So candidates that nobody will ever vote for will be detered from running and wasting people's time.
