Ho Say Liao! Gahment to jack up ciggarette prices!

anyone caught with 1 cartoon = sentence to death:eek:
anyone caught with 5 packets = sentence to 20 years jail term:eek:
anyone caught with 1 stick = sent to DRC:eek:

KNN talk only, total ban mah. increase price by talking cock:rolleyes:

S'pore does not manufacture cigarettes. The govt can ban cigarettes the same way it bans chew gum. The only consideration is $$$.

i thought there is a BAT plant in Woodlands...got a colleague who used to work for them and every month they are given free carton of ciggies....

Normally those working in tobacco factory will ge given one carton/month free so does those working in beer industry.
If the price of cigi hike for another $1~$2 then the business is GOOD for contraband. Now they even do the delivery with min. purchase 1 carton.

Really? I'm surprised. Assembling cigarettes in s'pore with such high labour cost? Or only headquarter is here? Any idea?

-Next year, the smoking ban will be extended to cover markets, underground and multi-storey carparks, ferry terminals, children's playgrounds and exercise areas.-

the gahment should apply the 'u-turn principle' with smoking ban, can not make u-turn where there is no u-turn sign, you want to smoke go look for places that display 'smoking allowed' sign

They won't ban cigarettes the $$$ is too GOOD, only want to action action only, after smoking come cancer also need to see GOV doctor $$$ again goes back to them.
