Ho Ching, the much “beloved” wife of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong appears to hit back at her critics for defending her husband’s astronomical salary on her Facebook page.


In her latest post, Ho shared a short passage in Mandarin about two warlords during the Three Kingdoms era – Cao Cao and Liu Bei:

“Though Cao Cao is a villain in the eyes of many, he has many true friends. While Liu Bei is well known for his virtues, there are many who hate him too.”

It added that one should walk one’s own path and ignore the critics.
