Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris stated at the Democratic National Convention that she will ensure the United States beats China in the space and technology race.

"I will make sure that we lead the world into the future on space and artificial intelligence. That America, not China wins the competition for the 21st century," she stressed.

Harris insisted Washington should "strengthen" and not "abdicate global leadership."
