If its not written down, how to spread the message? There are million of hafiz. But not every Muslims are hafiz. Not everyone can speak Arabic. Past 1400 yrs and the Quran still intact. .

Quran isn't written. It's revealed and recited. Into minds, memorized and into hearts to be practised.

But if you want to be anal, we do not know who wrote the first verse down, but it was written down by the companions onto probably parchment and later on these were collected and compiled into the Quran, the book.

The vast majority of early Muslims we're illiterate. Quran is passed on orally.
