Stay in S'pore for US$1

FROM Wednesday, tourists coming to Singapore will pay just US$1 for their first night's stay here if they fly on Singapore Airlines (SIA).
This is part of a stopover package that covers exclusive deals on hotel accommodation and entry to some of Singapore's leading tourist attractions.
SIA is teaming up with the Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport to offer the Fabulous Singapore Stopover Package.
Valid until Sept 30, travellers can choose to stay from a list of six hotels at the first night rate of US$1, or choose other hotels at first night rates of US$20, US$30 and US$40 respectively.
Other goodies in the package include free ground transfers to and from the airport, and free admission to attractions like Sentosa and Jurong Bird Park.
'We hope this special US$1 deal will entice travellers to stop over in Singapore and experience the buzz and unique attractions that this country has to offer," said Mr Huang Cheng Eng, SIA's Executive Vice President, Marketing and The Regions.
"For those already thinking of going on a holiday, this attractive package will give them the extra 'push' to travel with Singapore Airlines and stopover in Singapore.'
