This is not a religion. The book of guidance has nothing to do with religion. That came about 170 years after arabs swarmed out of Arabia.
When arabs invaded and colonised the Greek speaking part of roman empire ( remnants of Alexander the greats conquest), the Levant, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, they did not bring in any religion. They allowed the conquered people to carry on as normal as long as taxes are paid.
