i don't know gg well but have met him a few times to pass him some small donations. this guy is broke and hungry and always asking for 'donations' but he does not seems to me a bad chap. maybe his head swell a little with the feb success but at least he put his face and name to what many of us cannot be bothered to do. that much credit you have to give him and that is why as and when i have some spare cash, i call him up and hand him some donations.

They are going to have people check NRIC of those attending the May Protest, for what reason I don't know. Do not think it will help with the safety.

One of the issues highlighted in the e-mail exchanges was the state of the funds raised to organise the event, which about 5,000 people attended.
Then someone alerted the Commissioner of Charities (COC). So the COC has now stepped in and is speaking with the organiser, Transitioning Unemployment Support Services (TUSS), a non-governmental organisation headed by Mr Gilbert Goh (above), 51, a career counsellor.
The New Paper found out about the squabble after a reader forwarded the e-mail chain, which was confirmed to be authentic by several of those listed as recipients.
TUSS is now planning for the May 1 protest at Hong Lim Park.
