You are right, I must have missed the PA's recruitment poster for Mayor as all stat board are required to recruit staff thru an official process that is open to all in Singapore. PAP MPs also are not controlled by the PAP HQ as they are paid by the state. They actually vote in Parliament independently and not follow the whip in order to the remain at arms length.

Am I missing something?
Please send me a copy or please post a copy of that recruitment poster, so that I may consider applying for one of the Mayor positions next time.
I can try even if they eventually do not consider me qualified and suitable.
