he has no choice. the safety, security, survivability, and success of sg do not rest with sg alone. they lay mutually with the entire region. even though it's daunting, it's better to try and change the near-impossible than rest on one's laurels. there are too many egos to deal with among regional neighbors, but the quiet, generous and open diplomacy of sg in helping the talented and gifted of her neighbors will reap rewards far beyond expectation. lhl has already won that s.l.e.a.z.e leadership role without the region and the world realizing it. that's a hallmark of true world leadership and vision, and he's worth more than obama and xi combined. those two clowns don't have the similar depth of long term vision and effective unassuming execution.
