Gamblers Beware

Don't let us influence you. Boring or not depends on an individual. It is subjective. You must have read up on Melbourne and surely something there entices you to visit the city.

Good advice....yes, i agree with you..some dislike melbourne but others love it...to each his own

Go and watch little penguins at sunset, cute little penguins as little as pigeons, falling in for headcount and inspection parade at the the beach.

Yes, the penguin parade at Philip Island is something to behold...also the weather at PI is great.

can also see these same penguins at Capetown, S Africa...

Haha thanks Ram and Golden... :)

My main purpose is to actually visit a friend there, however, knowing that she is mad over cars it will be race tracks all the way if I were to go there for a visit. Is there like any interesting places which I can go other than visiting the penguins? :p

If she likes cars, drive along Great Ocean Road is a must

I want to dearly but some things are beyond my control. When you reach my age, you will understand.

Sleep early, sleep well, diversify your hobbies, eat well, good sex life, dun gamble too much...these activities will serve you well

I heard more gals will enter to contest against the pap at the next GE..go support them

hahaha....since you have so much grievances against Papee, why not you enter the contest...
We will support you left, right and centre plus front and back.

I am surprised you find Melborune boring..it has been rated as one of the most liveable city in the world.

I love melbourne because it has everything..entertainmemnt, nature, weather, infrastructure, good and efficient government, etc..a perfect place

Liveable, yes I agree. Good for a tranquil retirement. But for touring, quite boring.

ground control stations are only effective for UAVs...not space travel. looks like you may be redundant

Oh no, please don't retrench me!

Yes, USA, Jpn, Thailand can be exciting

Australia is fine too but I just find the Melbourne pace a bit too slow for touristy excitement. Retirement there is alright for me if given the chance. I've lived for a few months in Canada and visited NZ for a week too. Generally, this group of English-speaking countries are fine, except some areas are a bit boring and some areas can be too exciting, if you know what I mean.

Yes, if you are exotic and erotic, you wont be redundant...so fear not:)

So when are you arranging your next tour with me.

yea...it depends on what excitement one is looking for..

NZ has its white water rafting, bungee jumping, hot air balloon, Alpine trips, glaciers, speedboats, casinos, nature trails, etc...what other excitement is missing?

some guys like excitement with a fine lady...that, with the right gal, you can get excitement in any country..

so i dun see boredom in aus, nz, etc...
