SINGAPORE - A man claims that he was beaten and robbed by four women after he rejected an offer for sexual services in a massage parlour.
A 45-year-old shop-owner, Mr Goh, was passing by Tanjong Pagar when a masseuse invited him into the massage parlour for a face-wash.
The masseuse then asked him whether he wanted alcohol, Chinese newspaper Lianhe Wanbao reported. He gave her $150 to buy wine, he claims.
Goh alleges that the masseuse then led him to a room where she asked him to remove his clothes. Goh replied that there was no need to since it was just a face-wash.
That was when she exposed herself to him.
Goh pushed her away, at which point the masseuse became upset. An argument ensued.
Other female workers outside the room heard the commotion and entered the fray. Goh claims that they dragged him outside the room, where he was beaten with a stick.
Mr Goh said that he suffered injuries to his head, eyes and arms.
After leaving the parlour, Goh boarded a cab. That was when he realised that his wallet containing $10,000 was missing. He then remembered that someone had snatched his wallet during the fight.
He reported the incident to the police.
Accused him of rape
The masseuse claims that she hit him because he had tried to rape her.
According to the 50-year-old woman, her sister had introduced her to Goh. They had gone out on dates and planned to meet at the parlour.
She said that the shop-owner then pinned her to the bed and molested her.
Her workers rushed in after they struggled for 10 minutes. She used a pole to hit him in a fit of anger.
She also said that she did not take the $10,000 from him and merely took $120 for the face-wash service she provided.
