Peter Yu, the former actor who was also television compere Quan Yifeng's ex husband, is now apparently a taxi driver.
Shin Min Daily reported that he is currently earning roughly $150 a day in his new profession.
The Chinese newspaper spoke to Yu over the phone and found out that he is now a Christian, and that he has since remarried someone who volunteers at the church he goes to.
Yu is slated to shed light on his life, including details on the period after his highly-publicised divorce with Quan, in an interview due to air on Oct 1.
The couple's divorce was finalised in 2009, and they were both granted shared custody of their daughter.
Meanwhile, Quan has suggested that Yu has not tried to make contact with his daughter even though he says he misses her a lot.
It is understood that Yu is poised to apologise for certain things in his life, some of which may be related to his divorce with Quan, and also talk about how much he misses his daughter, who lives with Quan.
When the Chinese newspaper spoke to Quan about this, she did not buy his sentiments, claiming instead that he didn't want to initiate contact.
