one thing for sure. SDP cannot control all their clowns. they are all running amok n berserk here exactly like rabid pariah doggies.
next time instead of sending the matas, they should ask the SPCA to handle them.
our saikongseng is as debative as ever. just let him win la if u consider him as ur pal.
that's why i got a hunch that he might just win the next MP! his try-try-never-die spirit is admirable. as pals of his, we must give him out outmost support. my gang of GOFs agree with my li'l brother LTS and are vying - rather betting- that he shall win the next erection.

Anyway, having said all this, I hope you would agree with me that putting all past bickering off for the moment is BEST for everybody, especially WP.
Goh Meng Seng
It maybe prudent for NSP to make it clear once and for all if the person behind the moniker "Fiverstars" is in anyway an official representative of NSP.
This chap has made some ridiculous comments many of which was racially insensitive including comments that claim that PAP is supported by Indians and Malays.
As he has been sending out messages in regard to meetings and gatherings of NSP, no one can be blamed if he is perceived to be an official rep.
Pointless having a well constructed agenda with someone chipping away at the base with insensitive and poorly constructed and ridiculous analyses and yet making NSP annoucements with no one else from NSP correcting it.
You mean you understand what he writes? I gave up long ago and simply skip his postings.
I've grasped your issue.
I doubt it. Still can't name another example of this that you claimed was commonplace and that even the PAP can't do it.
Reminds me of the time that you claimed that you were invited to join the PAP (not YPAP)
I do grasp your issue. It's that you feel that Fivestars is the only one posting in such a manner with reference to NSP. I can cite you past examples. Pmonkey used to post in such a manner with reference to WP, relaying WP announcements, event invitations, recruitment drives etc. In fact, to a certain extent, Goh Meng Seng and I used to do that too.
I was invited to join YPAP (not PAP). No big deal, the batch was a big group of about 200. But what has that got to do with this?
You still can't grasp it. Did Pmonkey make offensive, racially sensitive, etc remarks. He only met one condition. This guy did met 2 conditions
1)Making offensive , racially sensitive remarks damaging to the party
2)Making Party annoucements.
There are many others that made party annoucements in the past including GMS, people associated with SDP, RP etc but none of them have been associated with insensitive and politically damaging remarks that impacts their party. They might hold alternative views but certainly not racially insensitive and damaging remarks.
You seem to forget the discussion on PAP. In that discussion, you also jumped the gun when I said no one can just walk in and become a member of the PAP. By the way, any donkey can join YPAP. YPAP and PAP are 2 separate legal entities for obvious reasons. I cited that case as it was similar where you jumped in without realising what was the issue.
YPAP is registered as a distinct entity by itself, that's true; unlike WP Youth Wing which is an integral part of WP as a registered party. However, besides legal and administrative aspects, YPAP functions exactly like a PAP wing, all who are below 40 are channelled YPAP and all above that age are channelled to PAP. Upon reaching 40, YPAP members (except office bearers subject re-election) are automatically transferred to PAP. Quite a number of PAP MPs are still YPAP members. They all contest under PAP, whether from PAP or YPAP.

I had also thought that YP was a separate entity but apparently, the name doesn't exist in the records of the Registrar of Societies. It can't be registered as a charity or trade union so I think it is part of PAP.
OK. Thanks for your patience with me and elaborate clarification. Now I see that it's the racially cavalier remarks accompanying Fivestars' NSP message relays that cause concern and even offence. The concern and offence being, these remarks may be mistaken to be officially representative of NSP position. Point taken.

PAP does not accept members walking-in but it is not too difficult. Just spend time assisting an MP and you could get it in as fast as 3 months. PAP has the luxury of grassroots channel to test out a person. The tough part is being a cadre and some had to wait 5 to 10 years.
I think the "donkeys" who join the YP are not really a YP membership, it is an associate membership which is effectively a volunteer list in another name and the form of an application form which is effectively a powerless contact sheet that asks for more details. Constitutionally the person cannot cry that he/she is a member and is not bound by the party's laws.
Typically, Minister and MP materials don't go thru the party mechanism at all. They are normally identified via scholarship schemes and those outside such schemes are identified by spotters. They will inducted into Young Pyramid and other vehicles. The primary reason for this is that party dynamics is predominently grassroots and union oriented and the "intelligence" or the lack of it is noticeable and therefore unattractive to potential candidates. Only at a latter stage and with aclimitization, they are brought into the party.
Very few MP places are reserved within the party but these go to certain faction by convention - usually Chinese Teachers Unions always has one slot.
In fact, PAP does not act as the conventional political party. It is actually a supporters club for the ruling elite. Now they have decided that there will be category A supporters and Category B supporters which is YPAP. It is therefore no surprise that some have left YPAP to join other political party because the "MP career' path" or lack of it became apparent. It is also why the Roundtable was formed by those who was impatient or were not spotted earlier.
I can tell you that PAP "membership by invitation" is exactly that. YPAP ask you all the questions for MIS but any donkey can get in. After all, they do all the donkey work from door knocking to opening MP's car door after they had been standing on the reserved spot for over 2 hrs.
