ACTRESS Fann Wong looked like a Bollywood princess when she stepped into the Shangri-La Hotel last night with her bridegroom, fellow MediaCorp star Christopher Lee. She wore a pale cream wedding gown encrusted with over 1,000 gems and crystals, complete with a head shawl, while he beamed away in a matching Nehru-inspired suit. The couple, both 38 and long-time lovebirds, had registered their marriage in May this year. They held their traditional Chinese rites and wedding banquet yesterday. To get to his bride in the morning, Lee first had to get past four hurdles set up by her party of eight bridesmaids at her condominium apartment. He had to eat four large packets of rice and curry, down a bowl of alcohol-laced porridge, list all the TV series and movies on which he had worked alongside Wong, and then use his mouth to extract a 50-cent coin hidden in a big carrot. He also had to hand over a $5,988 hongbao (red packet) before he was finally allowed to set eyes on his bride. In the evening, the happy couple arrived for their banquet in a Rolls-Royce.

How do you know whether or not they donated to charity? How about yourself when you mentioned charity? When was the last you donated to a charity? Anyway, I feel that both of them looked great - something different, unusual... If the many people cannot accept it that's because you are not up to date to share their directions. It's their day... Let them decide. Wait till one day someone criticise your wedding and you'll know how terrible it feels...

It's your Big Day so you guys decide what you wear and how much to spend - be it your own money or sponsored. People are just jealous - ignore them!! Congrats!!

<what's up="" with="" the="" yucky="" fashion,="" ladies??="" it="" s="" such="" a="" waste="" of="" all="" those="" opulence.=""> For all those opulence worth $5 million as reported, they certainly can make it to Forbes' top 20 most expensive celebrity weddings. Or was it just drama on the wedding costs to attract more audience? Even celebrities like mariah carey or victoria beckham don't get as much sponsor from vera wong.
