So disgraceful! National flag used as cover for shoe rack

STOMPer Singaporean was shocked to discover some inconsiderate residents using the national flag as a cover for a shoe rack.

This STOMPer says:

"Pictures of a fellow Singaporean using the national flag as a cover for her shoe rack.

"Worst still, a potted plant was placed on it.

"Isn't this an offence to disrespect our national flag in such a way?"

Well... in the same context of MM's speech in parliament, the national flag is just a decoration; a symbol to reflect our desire to be a nation when in fact, we are just a country of servants to the elite and the foreign. Where locals are 2nd class citizens and foreigners are given more privileges.

It's a highfalutin idea to think the flag represents anything...:oIo:

PAP knows best. We must be more gracious and welcoming of FTs. We should not think highfalutin thoughts with no regard for practical international constraints.

We should offer FTs the FamiLEE flag as a tor kar por, a rag to clean their shoes with.
