Even if it is only 4 days, it is still insensitive.

ok. this F1 thingy..... SGP is counted as World's FIRST nite race which in my point is a GREAT thing for SGP. we all knew abt rd close monthssssss b4 it even start. BUT why are we still driving to work in those area? nuts? much as i guess. YES.
Yes, i know it affect lots of transports companies transport routes ( i m working in one of the Logistic Transport company) , but is something we have 2 deal with, this is gd for the country as a whole.
THE down side of this event? TOO MUCH is wasted on FTs, come on, this is SGP first GP, yet look @ the tickets, is tt price cheap for normal locals like you & me?
come on, u guys in white sure can do more than that, rmemeber where the hell u get ur money from for all ur GIC projects?
Dude, when it comes to taxpayer money, it must be spent with prudence and caution. As I said, F1 and casino cannot be the main economical policy; it probably can form part of what is the broader goal, but it cannot encompass the entire thing.
I'd rather spend billions on improving the communication cable for telephone lines and for the internet hi-speed broadband network, and know that it will pay for itself through increase in commerce, from both the business sector and the consumer sector.
But throwing billions in what may only return tens of millions is a bad investment decision. And plus its only for a few days. What benefit is that?
After all, Malaysia has consistently lost money in F1 because their returns have not been enough to cover the billions spent in expenses. Do we need to have such a black hole for financial wastage?

It is time that the eyes are opened and blinkers removed... think broader...
Stop arguing with my FTrash pet or I'll break your coolie rice bowl and revoke your pink IC! *hee*hee*
These days we only get the FTs who remit their money back and businesses rely heavily on locals to survive.
Damn!! - I've finally been caught out!
I'm laughing!
So, do you hail from Melbourne, Gold Coast, or did you grow up playing chatek in Havelock Road?
Anyways, or should I sez, any which ways, you sure are a sport.
Cheers!
so where is all the money that going to be generated as claim by the government.
so far 3 out 15 hotels in the areas said only have 90 percent occupancy.
