Not sure who coz I only know one of them. Knew him when he was a small boy. Friend's nephew. When heard he was involved, almost fainted. Skinny and pale looking chap.

Can't recall the name of the High Court judge who presided over this case. Sinnathurai perhaps. He knew one of the young accused person and even mentioned this in open court.

Father asked MHA to officially lift his son's diplomatic status but the Thai Foreign Service refused. The Ambassdor had to called in as they feared that would thrash the son.

Another case where the father had honour was the Indian High Commissioner to London. Son shoplifted which is common in the diplomatic service. Father resigned.

Once in a while you come across very responsible parents but most the time you can see children running around disturbing diners, opening packaging in supermarket and helpin themselves. The maid carrying the NSman's brains was the best example of the value system.

Police panicked when US embassy got itself involved. Those who were laughing at Police HQ coz an OMS was involved in alleged assaults suddenly buay chai. LKY's memo to 'treat this case as normal case' brought some smiles back. This OMS, I think DAC today, would easily have been SAC if not for this case. Had it been another, the poor chap would have been sacked or charged in court coz injury was 'grievous' under section 325 cap 224.

Secret Societies always had gangs from different ethnic groups. The Malay and Indian gangs were really bad in the old days. Subhas Anandan was the leader of a gang operating Canberra Road. He was place under CLPS. His brother appealed to GKS who asked someone to look into it. They found out that the Inspector from SSIB was screwing Subhas's girlfriend. Subhas's gang was the Black Eagle. The best educated gang was an English speaking gang called the Bandidoes. They were disowned by the SS hierachy when they began commiting armed robbery with guns. Operated in the East Coast. St Pat boys. Completely wrecked by drugs.

The worst gangs are the Malay gangs. First to start fight. Making money was secondary. Girl problem no. 1. You seldom hear of girl problem with Chinese gangs. Indian Gangs serious ego problems, cannot keep low profile.

The HK boy was the son of the HK Film producer brought in under talent program. Old man praised the family for taking the medicine without complaining. Typical of old man - FT cannot do no wrong. The son was also caned.

Heard abou the assault by OMS. Girlfriend was in NUS doing post grad diploma in System science. Nice guy.

Victim of his was a Malaysian Chinese boy. Jennifer Marie with AGC was most helpful in resolving the assault case. Other DPP involved was Ng Cheng Thiam who is still with AGC.

No one touched the Thai boy who immediately notified the arresting officers of his status when arrested. Not aware of his dad's involvement.

I love him as PM. I was among the last batches of police when he was PM. Jakakumar was MHA then and he knew nuts. Old man was in total control of SPF, ISD, CPIB etc. Old man allowed all kinds of stunts like no reason also can arrest first, beat them up and talk later, then anyhow find a chapter and section to fill in the blank on the charge book for formality.

After GCT took over PM, coinciding with my goodbye to police, the police force went downhill and right down the dumps when WKS became MHA. :(

Yes, Kelvin Tan is from St Andrew. He should be 42 this year. He was born in 1969. About Sinnathurai, his son Chandra was the Vice Captain (Prefect) in SA too.

As for GS, he stayed in Farrer Park, Blk 9 or 10 back then.
