EDMWer who is staying in Sengkang, disgusted with PAP and Straits Times coverage...

If not then $900m tax payers money would not be granted?
In his memoir OB Markers: My Straits Times Story, former editor-in-chief Cheong Yip Seng, alleged how a govt-appointed "monitor" was present at the newspaper, "someone who could watch to see if indeed the newsroom was beyond control", and that disapproval of the "monitor" could cost a reporter or editor from being internally promoted or even dismissed. Cheong identified the first monitor as S. R. Nathan, Director of the Mindef's Security and Intelligence Division and later president of S'pore. Editors were bound by "out of bounds markers" to denote what topics are permissible for public discussion. The sum of $900 million would make compliance by ST a given.

If you have half a brain, you will know never to have varying expiry of leases within a same building. A HDB block should all have the exact same expiry date to be able to control the land use properly. I know its tough for you morons to visualize what proper land management is like, but make an effort.

Don't just be a typical Oppo supporter who
- complains about everything that the govt is doing
- endorses everything that an Oppo candidate is saying
- don't use any critical thinking

At the end of the day, all politicians are scums. Don't worry too much about what the color they are wearing. Some are just not being caught yet.
Not to endorse the wankers, but which land lord in the world expect 100% occupancy for their property? Not even Soviet era housing projects have 100% occupancy 100% of the time. U should recognize ur assumptions, even the obvious ones.

PAP Elites now have full control of SPH. It’s become PAP times.
I ceased my subscription to ST many years ago, because I did not wish to pay to read fake (censored) news. Daily circulation figures were inflated by around 85,000 to 95,000 copies i.e. 10-12% of the reported daily average. This was done through double-counting, printing, destroying copies and producing fictitious data. How can readers trust what is written in ST, if even the readership figures are false?
