Is @firehyrant under the heap?

You can see on Google Maps street view, go to JJ Mall Chatuchak and it's directly across the main road from the mall.

Construction probably started in early 2022.
they eradicated Chatuchak market for this piece of shit. Karma comes back like a whirlwind to whoop their asses.

They took out a chunk of the low level shophouses, probably to make space for a driveway leading to the condo. You can see the changes on Google Maps street viiew.

This is a good video of the collapsing building. Listen to the melodious cries and screams in the background.
The building fell neatly vertically down, not unlike an explosive-triggered demolition.

I'm sure some CNA/SPH pretend-journalists will steal this content if they haven't found it already.

New Zealand also have big earthquake years ago le

95% of the buildings in NZ meet an earthquake compliance code. Houses are made of a timber structure which flexes when the ground rumbles. Some roof tiles may fall and facades dislodged but the vast majority of houses will remain upright after a severe earthquake.

Same applies to the high rise buildings they are built on floating foundations to absorb the energy of an earthquake.

On the other hand places like Singapore, Bangkok, HCM aren't supposed to have earthquakes as they are not on or near a fault line. However nature does not follow the rules set by humans. She does things her own way.
