Two more men in the Ikea bribery case were charged in court on Wednesday with 80 counts of corruption each involving $2.3 million.
Leng Kah Poh, 50, then a food services manager of Ikano which operates the Ikea stores in Singapore, is accused of corruptly obtaining bribes of between $3,656 and $91,870 from Lim Kim Seng to be partial in placing orders for food products from AT35 Services and Food Royale Trading.
Lim, 53, was charged with giving the bribes to Leng between January 2003 and July 2009.
He allegedly committed the offences with Andrew Tee Fook Boon, 45, then owner of AT35, which was registered as a scrap metal and waste material disposal business. The firm later took over the business of supplying food such as marinated chicken wings to Ikea from Wholesale Food Trader which was operated by Lim's brother.
