Was at marine parade estate visiting a friend when notice that there is quite a number of dogs owner in Singapore, not only in marine parade , but in other estate as well.
Some are small ones, mostly are quite big in size and have seen quite a few that are pretty big dogs....
Interestingly I have also noticed, quite a number of owners are young couples, no kids, but dogs.....
There are other that are also retired, children already grown up and now own dogs......
Question is are Singaporeans now so affluent that owning/keeping dogs is now the in thing?
Already way past bread and butter issues, got time to rear dogs as companions rather than having kids as noted in the young couples.
Having kids but you cannot ignore them and they even talk bad to you, having dogs, you can ignore them when you are not happy from work......which is the better choice?
