talking about 4D, there is something i want to share with you guys.
years ago, i went to the god of fortune temple in sembawang, when you go there to pray, you will have to buy the joss sticks which come with a red packet that contains a 4D number. after praying, i didn't think too much about the number, so i didn't bet! on the same sunday, the 4D which came with the red packet came out consolation prize. i thought what the fish! then the following
Wednesday, i decided to bet the same 4D number and buy $10 big, thinking that chances are very slim that the 4D will come out again. and to my surprise,the 4D came out again consolation and i won $600. can you imagine the probability of the same 4D coming out consecutively. after that, i went back to the temple and give back some.

I am not a superstitious person but after this incident, i start to ponder and think that anything is possible.

The chances of a strike is further enhanced when 'prolonged' over a period of time. These temples and deities don't tell you to buy 4D on a specific date. They are almost always silent on that.

If over a week. it is 3 draws, further enhancing a strike chance. Added to that, it need not be first prize. Even 2nd and 3rd prizes are considered 'accurate'. For some, as long as strike, they will gladly further spread the good news - starter and consolation.

Then you also have the 'play safe' punters. Theywill roll the number(s), increasing the odds of him striking. When strike, such 'roll' numbers also considered as a gift from the temple/deity.

I mean statistician will tell you that it's all a matter of probability right? There is always a chance that something may happen because nature is such that is tends towards increasing entropy. So my point is that it's only a matter of time before it happens. If someone buys 4D for just $1 every single drawing day, I think before 3 years (debatable) is up, that person will buy the winning numbers. Whether how much he wins or how soon he wins is another story basically. Problem is that he may win and then think that his luck may not run out and that he may hit a "dry streak".
