Do The Right Thing: GST Package Every Year

One week before the GE came the GST package payouts, casually touted as vote-paying package. If so, how come the PAP lost 6 more % of the vote-swing? Because the electorate is not stupid. It's our own money accumulated through GST and rebated partially only. It's supposed to "help the poor" with more rebates to the poor.

However, it's always for one or two years only after a GST hike, usually timed with GE. Then the poor goes back to several years of paying full GST with zero rebate. The government should do the right thing every year with GST package every year.
