I'll start the ball rolling. I HATE fatties.

Anyone who is fat is obviously weak willed and has no respect whatsoever for their own bodies.

There should be a fat tax and fatties that fly should be forced to pay extra for taking up more space than they should.

Some have fat genes. I've a worker who's 5'2", 90 kg who eats like a mouse – only one meal a day – a little rice, some veggie & chicken. Does brisk walking for an hour three times a week. Whole family is obese – rest of the siblings >100 kg.

Fat genes are to blame for more than a fifth of obesity meaning exercise and dieting are of little use to millions, a new study has found.

The landmark research, published in the journal Nature, is the most precise estimate yet for the percentage of obesity caused by DNA rather than lifestyle and is expected to fuel moves to categorise obesity as a disability.

It could change thinking in the NHS about how the condition is treated, experts suggest.

Current figures suggest about a quarter of adults and one in ten children in Britain are obese and up to £8 billion a year is spent treating obesity and related illnesses.

Researchers from the Genetic Investigation of Anthropometric Traits consortium analysed DNA from more than 300,000 people worldwide to complete the study.


Elizabeth Speliotes, of the University of Michigan, who led the research, told The Times the research clearly showed there was no single gene that drove obesity.

"The large number of genes make it less likely that one solution to beat obesity will work for all and opens the door to possible ways we could use genetic clues to help defeat obesity," she said.

Alistair Hall, professor of medicine at the University of Leeds, who contributed data to the study, added that exercising and eating healthily were still the best protection against becoming fat, but the discovery "could help many people born with a disposition to put on too much weight".

A companion paper, also published in Nature, claimed that women are much more prone than men to genetic quirks that cause fat to accumulate around the waistline rather than the hips, exposing them to a greater risk of type-2 diabetes and cardiovascular trouble.

Out of the 20 areas of DNA linked to fat distribution that affect one sex more than the other, 19 have a stronger effect on women.

The authors suggested that the disparity could be explained by sex hormones.

Same here I am scared of fat woman but I always attracted them. if I like fattie I would have hold at least 100 fat waist and fuck 30 fat woman.

The article is a load of bull. The only way of getting fat is if you consume more calories than you burn.

Fat is stored energy and the law of conservation of energy means the only place fat could have originated from is by stuffing calories in through the orifice situated in the face and not using all those calories up through daily activity.

100 years ago there were hardly any fat people.

The body's hormones go into starvation mode and metabolism drastically slows down. For some, the body preferentially burns up carbs and proteins rather than fat, leading to accumulation of adipose tissues and weakening of skin, muscle and bone.

So genes play a part. Even with diet and exercise, a certain proportion of people remain obese. The only way out is bariatric surgery and extremely low-cal diets (<1,000 Cals/day). These aren't normal folks – no normal person can survive on 1,000 Cals a day.

I'm one of those who puts on weight very easily. You could say I was genetically programmed to be fat. If I eat the normal 3 meals per day and don't exercise, I start putting on weight at the rate of about 0.25kg per month.

I do this with an exercise program that does not take up more than 4 hours per week.

If I can do it anyone can. All it takes is will power.

You're still normal – your body responds to diet and exercise. You probably have an average metabolism that has slowed down owing to advancing age.

Give your program to an obese or morbidly obese person and he wouldn't shed a gram – he'd probably even put on weight. That's because his metabolism doesn't function like yours.

Of course there are many who're obese because they simply eat too much and exercise too little. I'm talking about the unfortunate group who are genetically predestined to be obese their entire lives. You can't blame willpower for these folks.

Hardly any of these genetically unfortunate people existed before the 1970s so it must be a recent genetic mutation that has occurred in the last few decades and afflicted millions in a short period of time.

A famous example was Luther Vandross, who struggled with his weight his entire life, yo-yoing between 340 and 190 lbs. When he finally found the secret to losing weight and keeping it off (at about 220 lbs), it was basically high proteins, lots of veggie and zero carbs – on 900 Cals a day!

Even a 40 kg woman can't survive on 900 Cals a day, but Luther could, and needed to, to maintain his weight at 220 lbs. If that's not genetics I don't know what is.

Obese woman should be avoid at all cost.

Boss, BMI 19 is abit on the skinny side.
mine is at abt 23, you probably should cut down on your cycling and start swimming or go pump some iron
build up some muscles.. i think BMI 21-23 is the best..
