Coming from Dick Lee who married Jacinta? Why bother if u are gay?!

He was just stating his honest opinion of heterosexuals - couldn't understand how a man could get turned on by a woman.

Ja is bi. Her marriage to Dick was a sham to protect Dick's popularity among female fans in Japan as the height of his fame as the Mad Chinaman.

BTW, Dick's brother John is gay also.

i heard that gay men are more "bitchy" that girls.

is it true?

i share the same sirname as Tan Kah Kee are we connected?maybe my great great great grandfather came from the same village in fujian, chi mei.

There weren't too many baba families in Singapore back in the day. Therefore the chances of the baba families being associated by marriage, alumni or business dealings were quite high.

I understand there were 4 major baba family clans in Singapore before WW2 - the Tans and the Kwas were 2 of them. They control the banks today.

The majority of us whose grandfathers arrived by boat were the poor peasant class.

The Babas were favoured by the colonial govt because of their facility with English. There was a pecking order in the civil service then: Ang Mo, Eurasian, Baba Chinese, Indian, Malay.

The rest of the Chinese (under 3 generations) were known as 'sin kek' (new guests) Chinese – they were either merchants/traders or coolies/peasants fleeing hardship in China. They were only conversant in dialect, Mandarin (educated in Chinese stream), some pasar Melayu and broken English.

Did not realize Gecko's niece is now running Lee and Lee

I don't know why would anyone want a name like "Dick". It's like naming yourself "Penis".
