Diablo III is here finally

Assume you are referring to D2. Necromancers are not difficult to play. Mine was like level 77 and I play all high level characters including Barbies, Paladins and Druids.

No i was referring to Diablo 3. Played around 2 hours. The Witch Doctor is a new class which is similar to Necromancer.

The Witch Doctor is a ritualistic voodoo fighter. Hailing from the deep jungles of Sanctuary, the Witch Doctor practices his dark arts. Meditating to access the "Unformed Land" he calls upon the spirits of the past to strike fear and horror in his adversaries. He is even able to reanimate the dead in both human and inhuman bodies to command. Time in the jungle has also allowed this tribalistic warrior to use powders and elixirs in the form of fire and poison to unleash upon the demons. While never doing much of the actual fighting themselves, the Witch Doctor is a formidable foe against the demons that have invaded his home with the spiritual aid of others.

Many people are just mesmerized by the Diablo franchise (the hype and/or fond memories of growing up while playing Diablo 1 and 2) and Blizzard's reputation of delaying games to perfect them, then release them with as few bugs and balance issues as possible.

Unfortunately, the old Blizzard is no more, and the new company is now Activision-Blizzard. The new management was the main reason why they made WOW more and more casual, and why there's a blatant MMO-fication of Diablo 3 (no LAN, always-on Internet connection required, cash item auction shop).

The new management was also why they decided to split Starcraft 2 into three parts and sell each part at a full price, including the later two 'expansions'. Why? To maximize profits.

Big game developers/publishers are ruining franchises.
Ubisoft ruined Heroes of Might and Magic.
EA ruined Command & Conquer / Red Alert.
And I think Activision-Blizzard is going to ruin Diablo 3. We'll see.

Players in D3 has already reached max level 60 within 48 hours of hardcore gaming and now they can go to Inferno Level play.

It took me years for my Amazon to reach level 97 being a casual player in D2. Even hardcore gamers took a very long time to be at level 99 which is maxed.

I was apprehensive about buying the game waiting for inputs from those who play. So far in this forum no one who is playing is saying much. In other forums they are giving D3 a thumbs down. Looks like I will not be buying after all.

I just got my CE yesterday. Only manage to play like an hour because wife was nagging me about "playing games". First impression, its good, yes it seem easier as well. Not sure if its because my friend joined me so as to help me level up. But it does seem easier, then again, its normal. I din really look through the different skills. I think removing the skill tree is a good move. It does make armor/weapon gathering more crucial, but the first few quest is easy enough that you don't even need them. I'll be playing it when I have the time.

The designers could simply overpower the enemies or underpower the player to make him take a longer time to complete the game. See that's why that comment that you wrote is so retarded and fyi you are not allowed the change the difficulty level when you first play the game and it's on normal difficulty so you have to complete the game first on normal before you can select another difficulty which is a pretty common occurance. Many games do this especially capcom games. Also blizzard games aren't really focused on the single player theme but rather the multiplayer theme. It's pretty simple to complete warcraft on single player mode too but is that what warcraft is all about? No warcraft is about endless hours of playing against other gamers on mulitplayer mode which is the same thing as the present diablo3 that's why they require an internet connection for one to play cos a player is supposed to go online to find other players to go on quests with.

ROFL take your challenge and tell you what D2 hardcore is! Wow question and answer time typical sinkie that tries to act smart over the simplest of things. I just did a google search on it and found out what it means. Hardcore simply means the character remains dead forever. Sure that would have made it seem like you were really having a damn hard time completing D2 but here's the thing. The game does not become more difficult when you use a hardcore character, you just have to be more careful not be killed when you play hardcore. Therefore for you to actually pull a fast one saying it took you years to level up as hardcore shows that you suck as a player but that's ok it's your dishonesty and "kay kiang-ness" that's the real turn off.
