Thanks God, finally Furama allows us to get bigger room. Peony room only able to fit 5 person..
below is the press conference conducted @2pm after the first hearing of David’s friends.
Dr Djaja just right on time show up in the Heritage room while we are about to start.
The press release can be read in other ‘note’ sent by Ineke.I just gather all informations based on what they said.
Oddities surrounding the death of DAVID HARTANTO WIDJAJA
Some of opinions from OC Kaligis : lawyer (experienced 43 years)and lecturer in police school
1.Based on analysis from the police in Indonesia about the pictures of David, they found oddities and they have same opinion about wounds/injuries which David had suffered.
2.David was said to be depressed and did not have any friends therefore he decided to kill himself but based on his friends, they said that David has a cheerful and friendly character. He got a lot of friends and many friends sympathy on him
3.David was accused of attacking his professor, Prof Chan Kap Luk with a knife. From his statement, David attacked him with a knife, they wrestled and struggled with him, he grabbed the knife blade with his right hand, and manages to break the knife blade from its handle. He also managed to kick David away from him and made David fell down. Professor was still holding the knife blade. This finding did not justify the statement that David attacked his professor, on the contrary, shows that he attacked David because he still hold the knife. Why Prof Chan Kap Luk has only 2 wounds while David has 14 deep stabbing wounds.
4.Why there was no finger print, no police line, no DNA test and when the laptop of David kept by the police should be return one week before inquiry court. We would like to make a cloning of this laptop because it need to be checked by our digital forensic expert. Why it was already 4 months the police has not returned it. We afraid there will be a destructed laptop after quite so long. This case has to be open and disclose.
5.When David’s family arrived, they were not allowed to see David’s body. The chances to see David’s body only his face and neck for only 3 minutes. Indonesian embassy also was not allowed to testify the corpse.It should not happened, even advocate in Indonesia is allowed to see the autopsy so there’s no evidence can be fabricated. It is a universal standard to show the whole body especially indication of commit suicide.
6.Why David’s body was cremated before the body was stamped by the Indonesian embassy.
7.Statement from university is changing from time to time (4 times). Regarding lies of a person, there must be a full disclosure of what happen in David’s case
8. The statement testimony of William regarding NTU has been omitted by the police. William didn’t want to sign on that statement and testify. Court not willing to let him testify without signing, Mr Kaligis detects lots of oddities.
9. There are 2 other cases in relations with David’s case which has to be investigate further.(Zho Zheng,Chinese assistant who hang himself and Hu Kun Lun, the one who was hit by the car) The case has to be disclosed and transparent to public.
10.This case attracted parliament in Indonesia and department of Justice. Digital forensic also can testify.
11.In the court today, three witnesses namely Ardi Salim, Bambang Putra & Kurniawan Susilo who are friends of David, testify that David is friendly person and had no trouble with his personality.
David even went to Bible study 2 weeks before the incident.
Dr Djaja Surya Atmadja, Forensic Pathology whom asked by the family, analyze and gives opinion :
1. Incised wounds on David’s upper limbs are consistent to the defensive wounds means David was attacked by sharp weapon and protected himself that caused multiple sharp wound injuries on his upper limbs.
2.Incised wound on arms, forearms and hands are defensive wounds or tentative wounds
3.Injuries such as on the face, head, neck, chest, abdomen and internal injuries were caused by blunt forced injuries that can be caused either by falling from the height or other kind of trauma
4.David left kidney is more likely due to severe direct blunt forced injury on the abdomen or left waist rather than injury by falling from the height
5.David’s leg was twisted caused by traumatic twisting of the left lower limb and it is very seldom caused by falling on your adult.
6.David left hand has many incised wound cut, seems this person is attacked by somebody, it is a defensive wound..if he commit suicide the cut should be in the wrist.
Many strange and oddities can be seen as explained in Mr Djaja’s opinion which was distributed to press as well.
William Hartanto, David’s brother’s, said :
1.Statement about NTU which has lies about commit suicide, cover up the injuries etc. had been omitted and he was forced to sign the statement which was not the same as he made in front of the police, witnessed by his father.
2.How can NTU spread the news that David stabbed the professor and commit suicide even before the police finish the investigation? This is such a big conspiracy.
3.How can the famous university like NTU make an allegation before the police finish investigation?
4.How can the family didn’t know about the injuries
5.Why the family never has a change to back up the laptop. Some document such as suicide notes is found in David’s laptop which means there was a change in his laptop and possibility to be fabricated.
6.David is the person who is unlikely to commit suicide, he even never touch a knife in his life. How can he stabbed the professor?
7.The family will never give up opening these lies and the conspiracy until the truth come up.
