Crumbling of Singapore?

even in the singapore buddhist lodge, the powers that be also want to silently mind-condition you to conform to the present status quo, otherwise, somehow you'll not be welcome in the lodge. Take my case as an example, because I dared to speak the truth fearlessly in the buddhist lodge, my head was hit and injured last year, requiring immediate medical attention and several stitches in hospital, when some vulgar creature shattered a glass mug behind my head. And guess what, the case was totally downplayed as if it didnt exist, as if "I deserved to be hit", and no police went to the scene to investigate despite my police report, and the assaulter who resorted to this criminal act of violence was allowed to leave the lodge to escape any legal consequences. What kind of justice is this?

Come on, if even a buddhist lodge in a nation can be bleached and whitewashed to such an extent by the powers that be, of course u would see signs of that nation crumbling along with its moral decadence. it's the workings of karma, and also common sense.
Under BN/UMNO, Najib went on a spending spree, building grand projects, spending billions of tax payers money. When BN was voted out last mth, the PH govt discovered huge corruptions and cronyism by the BN govt at the expense of the people. the PH govt is looking into criminal charges against BN leaders

The PAP has also embarked on high and wasteful spending. Changi Jewel, T4, T5, Gardens by the Bay cost at least $1B each at Singaporeans expense. Who got the contracts and who benefited from these wasteful projects? When we get a new govt, pap will have their books open for inspection. Singaporeans will then know the truth

Maintenance cost of Gardens by the Bay is $$100+m a year, abt $300,000 a day. Go look at who is benefiting from Gardens by the Bay maintenance

Raise GST is to help the poor plants

raising GST to help poor plants is bad but not criminal.

It will be bad if billion dollar projects are done using tax payers' money to benefit cronies

Our jobs are the most important investments.

For years, you were told that your HDB flat were your greatest asset. But pause to think a while ... it is your job - more specifically this financial security that provided you an income to buy and pay housing loan for your HDB flat

Yes...this is the absolute downfall of Singapore hence forth.

Sad thing is that 69% of Singaporeans endorsed this.
The pap has done so badly that Singaporeans are thankful for whatever little mercies they get:
1. I was thankful this morning that my home did not experience power disruption
2. My aunty was thankful when she was able to be warded after 6 hr wait at the hospital
3. Friend A was thankful when her son ORD safely from NSF
4. My cousin was thankful whenever she didnt experience MRT breakdown ahen she travelled to work
5. Friend B was thankful that her SingHealth record was not hacked

What most other coutries take for granted, Singaporeans are now thankful.

Singapore was flying high in 1988. Singapore is in deep trouble in 2018

An echo chamber/old boys club parliament of people all earning at least S$1,000,000 p.a. to qualify:
'Without some assurance of a good chance of winning at least their first election, many able and successful young Singaporeans may not risk their careers to join politics,' Mr Goh Chok Tong, June 2006 ['GRCs make it easier to find top talent: SM'].

More PAP cheerleaders, cronies and goons installed Parliament:
"If the annual salary of the Minister of Information, Communication and Arts is only $500,000, it may pose some problems when he discuss policies with media CEOs who earn millions of dollars because they need not listen to the minister's ideas and proposals. Hence, a reasonable payout will help to maintain a bit of dignity."

Raise GST is to help the poor plants
PAP knows it has created big problems for SG and singaporeans:
1. HDB issues
2. Income inequality
3. Cronyism
4. Ministers obscene salaries
5. Non transparency\
6. Non accountability
7. High cost of living
8. Poor pap performance
9. Poor calibre of pap ministers
etc

Instead of trying to solve the problems, the PAP has instead choose to distract Singaporeans and divert our attention on the above problems by:
1. bringing up Section 377A
2. trying to bring us against Mahathir, Dr Thum, Tan WP, etc.
3 avoiding cpf issue

let us remain focused on the real problems pap has created and not be distracted

PMET jobs goes to Chinese Malaysians, Filipinos ... better still, the one that is mass hiring them are companies like Singtel and NCS.

These people come in, they start claiming singaporean cannot do the job thus hiring their own kind into the team.

Many such jobs go to the foreign Indians too.:mad::mad:

Once they drop anchor here, they will confirm bring in their kin(d) and establish a system of favouritism. I see it everywhere in every industry.

Plse dont discount the pinays. Tons of them too in sinkieland!!

PAP let in foreigners to steal Singaporeans' unch. PAP taxes locals heavily with expensive hdb flats, high cost of living, high medical costs, compulsory MedishieldLife, high water bills, expensive electricity prices, etc. Singaporeans are let down by PAP lies and bad leadership.

PAP gave free scholarships to foreign students whereas true blue Singaporeans have to sell their homes to pay for their children's education. PAP has betrayed and Singaporeans when Singaporeans needed the PAP. PAP turned its back on Singaporeans and ignored our plights. Some elderly Singaporeans choose suicide to relieve themselves of the bad situation.

PAP failed Singaporeans when we needed them. Now pap is facing problems with malaysia and need Singaporeans to cover its back and support them. Remember, where was pap when Singaporeans were fighting for jobs, fighting to overcome high cost of living, fighting to make a living? PAP deserted Singaporeans when they needed pap.

So shd we desert pap now that it is fighting for its credibility and political life? To me no pap MP is worth our support. Let pap sink. Singapore is better off without pap

Unless PAP sinks, Singapore will crumble.

To save Singapore, PAP must go

Very often the more they resist change, the more violent will be the outcome.
I hope the price we have to pay when change finally come will not be too high for locals to suffer
Most will hope for a peaceful and smooth transition but the way the PAP handle the handover to WP when they lost is an indicator of how they will play the game.
