Crumbling of Singapore?

spread the word; go to Hong Lim park; it's time to stand up and be counted; i intend to be there

looks like there'll be quite a number of speakers.
is the event starting earlier? does his permit allows him to start earlier?

Let's sing the following Singapore songs at HLP on 16 Feb:

1. Count on Me, Singapore
2. One People, One Nation, One Singapore
3. Stand Up for Singapore
4. We Are Singapore

And let's say the Singapore Pledge on 16 Feb

Let's not let PAP get away with poor performance

Should also sing the song called "It's My Party" made famous by oldies singer Lesley Gore.

Except change the lyrics to

"They're PA Party
And they'll do what they want to, do what they want to
They're PA Party
And they'll do what they want to
You'll do it too if happens to you."

I prefer that we sing popular SG nationalistic songs to arouse patriotism on 16 Feb.

Let this protest be the start of a Singapore Awakening against pap policies that discriminate against Singaporeans.

Policies that compel SG guys to serve NS but exempt new citizens and PRs from NS shd be brought up at HLP

The pap is getting desperate.

The PAP has no solution to the citizen's battlecry... "NS for Singaporeans, jobs for foreigners".

Getting Hri Kumar Nair to propose levying additional income tax and property tax on foreigners is a desperate act to test waters. It shows that the pap leadership has no idea how to solve this sensitive issue. Does the pap believe the additional levy will lessen the battle cry?

Let Singaporeans say no to:

"6.9m population in Singapore"

"Jobs for foreigners, NS for Singaporeans"

"100k COE for a car in SG"

"45% foreigners, 55% Singaporeans in Singapore"

"Humiliating treatment of poor, aged and sick Singaporeans by FSC, CDC, MOH staff"

"Neglect of poor and needy Singaporeans by PAP"

"PAP making profits by charging high medical costs"

"PAP favouring foreigners and discriminating against Singaporeans"

"High cost of living in Singapore"

"High HDB prices"

"Low wages for the bottom 20%"

"MRT Congestion"

"Using taxpayers money to subsidise public companies so that they can pay their CEOs high salaries and good dividends to the share holders"

"Lack of transparency and accountability"

"Poor governance"

"Companies like AIM"

etc

We should also add Abolish institutionalized racism to the below list.

Now that we know that an "unprecedented" crowd of 5,000 will turn up at the only patch of grass in Sinking Island where protests are legal, we can raise the bar slowly and persistently.

Aim for an Occupy Hong Lim movement like some law professor in Hong Kong is planning for an Occupy Central with ten of thousands of participants in July 2014. See: http://sammyboy.com/showthread.php?...es-are-Realists-who-prefer-to-live-in-Despair!

Let the Occupation continue for weeks and months, after all it is legal to protest there!

Can hold concerts, speeches, food fair, etc. Like a Fun-O-Rama!

Sing "We Built this City" like in this MTV:

We built this city,
We built this city on toil and blood

Say you don't know me, or recognise my face
Say you don't care who goes to that kind of place
Knee deep in the hoopla, SINKING in your fight
Too many IMMIGRANTS eating up the night

Marconi plays the Mamba,
Listen to the radio
Don't you remember?
We built this city
We built this city on toil and blood!
We built this city, we built this city on toil and blood
Built this city, we built this city on toil and blood

PINK LOON always playing corporation games
Who cares they're always changing corporation names
We just want to live here, F Trash stole the stage
They call us irresponsible, write us off the page

Ask Professor Benny Tai of Hong Kong University and his backers how they plan to do it. Organisers of the 1st July annual protests in Hong Kong have funds to last for a few years of marchs and protests even if no new contributions stream in. They even planned and implemented the escape of many Tiananmen dissidents from PRC after the 1989 crackdown. That's how it all started. Thanks to the patriotic fervour of people like Szeto Wah, dissidents like Wang Dan and Wuer Kaishi did not have to endure torture in Commie prison cells.

Suggest organisers of Hong Lim protest get in touch with these people. Am sure they will be glad to provide guidance including how to circumvent surveillance. They of course cannot supply the balls.

Yes, we cant let 81 pap members ruin Singapore.

We must be a check and balance to make sure that the pap works for SG and Singaporeans.

We must not let the pap sell Singapore to the world at the expense of Singaporeans.

Let's use HLP as a sign of how Singaporeans want SG to be governed
