OPPOSITION politician Chee Siok Chin's bid to have the courts intervene in her dispute with the Official Assignee (OA) failed on Monday morning. After a two-hour closed-door session, Justice Tan Lee Meng dismissed her application for a review of the OA's decision to deny her permission in June to travel to the United States. She was also ordered to pay costs of $1,000 to the Attorney-General's Chambers.
