Never bother to watch the NDP for some years already. It's been that way for as long as I can remember and I have given up hope that it will be any different this time. It's like having the same food everyday, the first time it was great, the second time good and third time so-so. After the fourth time, you felt bleah and later on you want to vomit.

for me, the most crappy part was the intro n dialogue part to bring in the various civil defense / military hardware. Having a kid to play the role of the commander in chief does not cut it. n there was no atmosphere of tension and suspense...macham like clicking on various units to move in a game of Warcraft....

I prefer to watch the getai anytime. Last9 the getai hosted by ting ting was much better and worth my time.

why not make a ndp parade once every 5 years, or 10 years instead.

Nobody is asking. It's the egomaniacs in power abusing national coffers and national human resources for their own glorification. The shows are always the same every year. The theme is also always the same. PAP built up Singapore. No real democratic countries in the world has NDP. Only communist and despotic countries.
