2021 is the highly transmissible delta strain . When it hit the effect of earlier vaccination (against alpha) was starting to wane . Hence the spike in cases and death. Hence the mad scramble for boosters

2 doses of mRNA are effective . still about 70-80% efficacy
3rd dose mRNA is optional but strongly encouraged especially if you are vulnerable and have co morbidities
if you choose not to take the 3rd mRNA dose the green tick will not disappear and you are still considered fully vaccinated

If you are ignorant and ill informed and take the sinovac (and must pay some more . what kind of moron would do that???)
3rd dose after 6 months is compulsory and the green tick will disappear if you fail to comply . then your life becomes miserable like the filthy anti-vaxxers
