My toes are dumbstruck by your comment. First and foremost, CPIB works for the government of the country, not PAP as a party. PAP just happens to be the party in government. If you can, win elections and take over government and CPIB is under your command. You can even disband it if you want. Then, what's wrong with investigating and taking action against misconduct and/or corruption? Public servant misconduct and/or corruption is offence against the state, not any party in particular. Any party or entity can lodge a report CPIB. Last but not least, the SCDF commissioner and CNA director are both not PAP members.
Whether they're dumb or not are their problems. Whether there're anything more to it are the investigating officers' problems. If you want to insinuate, even in the name of assisting investigation, you should also be able to substantiate. Let's begin by, let's tell us, what do you think is more to it?

When you want to open a file in CPIB, you should have at least evidence of serious breach of public trust or corruptions. Any wives who want to carry out extra-marital affairs should engage private investigators, not CPIB.

I don't go to CPIB to lodge a report just to prove a report can be lodged there by anyone. I'll lodge a report when I think it's necessary and there's ground for it. Corruption is not about cash alone, it can also be favor in kind unduly solicited or receieved in official capacity.
Bro Scrobal and TRE have suggested otherwise. The SCDF case involves purchase of a product from a San Diego IT company listed on Nasdaq. A Singapore GLC is said to have done the SI. The info in AsiaOne does not seem correct as the San Deigo IT company does not have any deals of size with CNB. The GLC however does. I suspect our msn is trying to hide the GLC involvement at this point in time. How they can do this when it goes to Court is beyond me ...
