All the Q'town people at that time were very proud to have him as our MP. His meet the people sessions are always crowded and I know from people who visited him JYT really works for the people.

New CNB chief was made director (DPID) only when new CP, his good buddy NJH took over from KBH. Latter didn't think too highly of NSS. He was DD in many places - DD PID, DD CID, DD CNB. Never a Director when KBH was around. I expect him to go far with new CP as his mountain. Yet to hear anything positives on him from his colleagues and subordinates. Some are born lucky.

Thanks. But since he is now made Dir CNB, the CP will not be able to offer him any further backing. Technically, they are both chief of their respective agencies.

Nothing positives from colleagues and subordinates is okay as long as your bosses have positive things to say about you. Everywhere is the same I suppose.

There is no money involved in both cases because the tendering process were all above board.
However, the 2 guys are found guilty of serious misconduct of having sex with a person with direct interest in their organization going business. This is an act of compromise that will affect the integrity, impartiality, image and honorable duties of a high ranking public servant.

The lady will not be trial.

The 2 guys will not be jail but will loose everything....

These things are actually common place in the private sector but as they are in the public sector, a different yardstick applies. There was case of an SIA stewardess who worked as a money broker for one of the big brokers, Marshalls I think who was bedding down sr forex dealers on a regular basis. One of the wive's complained to MAS which launched an investigation and noticed the trend in their securing funding for their trades. They clearly identified 3 from 3 different banks. The Banks were notified and the dealers suspended for a while. Marshalls was told not to operate a fuckshop amd to terminate the lady.

She was Gek Neo, better known as GN. Was in Astley and Pearce then Hung Chue Pedder Martin. Not Marshalls. More than three banks were involved.

Agree, there is no chance for anything of this scale to go straight to the printing room without approval from the top, not to mention these 2 are top civil servants. CPIB could have taken their initiatives for whatever reasons but definitely they do not control the media. It is a indeed a very murky pool inside MHA.
