Clement Puah Neo Wants Oppies to Display National Flag. Lol :D

SAF regulars (former and current) like him are insufferable.

I pity those who're unfortunate enough to have to interact or work with them in civilian life.

Is his surname Puah or Neo?

Two word surname -" Puah Neo"

at the Peak of his SAF career a Road Accident broke this man both physical and mentally. After the Accident he was sent to do " gardening " until he left the service.

cannot remember the exact nature of the Road Accident. And cannot confirm whether his son Conrad was with him at the time of the Accident.

i guessed , thats why he dumped his LTC title once and for all never to associate with SAF again.

Clement Puah Neo , if i remember correct, another signed on Army Pension Burger.

Could have became a full Colonel if not for an Accident.

Curious , why he didnt use his LTC ( Rtd) rank in the Interview with ST.

A little bird told me this uncle Clement and his special son were at the HSA Blood Bank at Outram Park this morning.

He brought along an entourage of people, and everyone gathered around the special son when he was donating blood.

During his time of Service, he was well known as LTC Puah Neo Peng Chew, now aka , Clement Puah

he went on to the signals formation (under chief of hq comms and electronics then - chew bak khoon) and was co of 3rd sigs bn and a major then, and very on! his unit won best signal unit numerous times - a credit to him and well-deserved - and a true offr and gentleman, if I may add.
he was later posted as def attache overseas.
LTC and COL are a dime in a dozen amongst the officer corps...it does not carry as much weight as BG,,,,and for such a small army,,,how many Flag officers does singkieland have?
hanor, but let's put this in perspective as those days in the early 70's, to be a major was not something to be scoffed at - even the then bde comdr of hq 3 sib was only a ltc (hashim al-joffery or even kesavan soon for that matter) as opposed to what we have now, especially at the semb country club - where they're a dime a fricking dozen.
if you know / knew him, he's an affable bloke and also a stand-up and be counted guy. he's come a long way from personal hardships - whatever political affiliation notwithstanding
