Chili peanuts are packed separately because it is more productive. I am not surprise if all the ingredients are outsource and the seller just pack them together. We are in the 21st Century and we have not much alternatives to choose sad to say.

On the hindsight, if you like your packed Nasi Lemak being made by the same person everyday. You can go to Malaysia or Indonesia. There is a price to pay for being advance or being backwards. Your choice.

It was nothing great. I still prefer the m&d version at Changi Village hawker centre. But the best one I've had was at Adam Road Food Centre. They used basmati rice. Sedap!

Back in 70s & 80s. Toa Payoh swimming pool canteen sell one packet for 30 cents. Can down at least 4 or 5 after 2 hours of serious exercise. Eg. Going underwater to catch good scene.
