On a cost to benefits ratios,,,the yanks are really value for money,,,but now that i have said it,,PAP might import the Yanks and pay 100K each for the yanks to win on sinkieland behalf,,,and say yanks are cheap etc..

after success in the olympics, americans make more money thru' product endorsements and corporate sponsorships. pundits are already estimating a 1st-year usd3m windfall for gaby douglas, the all-round female gymnastics gold medal winner.
They get product endorsements etc is a private sector issue, paid for by companies,,,unlike in sinkieland,,where its tax payer funded...that is why PAP is corrupt...and if sinkie athletes cant get private sector sponsorships show they have no market value and needs to be propped up by state subsidies,,,is that not corruption?

First of all, the US will win medals in as many, if not more catagories than the PRC by the end of the games BECAUSE they are leading in events like basketball, beach volleyball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, water polo, etc. Many of these events have yet to award medals!!!
We all know - as do 1 billion people around the world - that the real PRESTIGE is in events like swimming, gymnastics, and track & field. And this what people want to watch. And the Americans DOMINATE the PRC. The US will destroy the PRC at track and field and this is the true olympics.

China men gymnastic only good in certain event not all round. China lost few gold in Gymnastic this Olympic game.
the top chinese coach for prc women gymnastics was hired by u.s.a. after 2008, and he is now the personal coach of gabby douglas. she had to beg him to be her coach 4 years ago. he's a true ft. america gain. china lose.
