Tried an Indian restaurant along Upper East Coast Road. Opposite SPC petrol kiosk and along same row of shophouses as a tyre and car battery shop. Just before you turn left into Bedok and 1 junction before Bayshore.

Pretty good. Depending on what you order.

Restaurants at Race Course Rd are ok, pretty average.

The best I have tried was an Indian restaurant at Sunset Way, near Clementi. Think it is demolished already. Brought lots of chicks there when younger. The chicks are just sideshows. I needed company to eat curry in that restaurant. Feel funny to go and eat alone.
