Reading the news today, especially the interviews with the Bukit Batok residents themselves at the Kopitiams, they don't seem all very excited over the win by Murali. It was an expected win, many said. Many residents in the coffeeshop, went back to their dinner and kopi drinks after hearing that the Murali has won 61% by the sample count poll. There was no excitement or surprise reaction. Everything goes on business as usual. Something is not quite right here. You vote for the one to be your MP and you are not excited when he wins. Strange indeed!
