The present conflict got nothing to do with massacre. It a matter of Hamas pulling off from the truce and started firing rockets into Israeli cities. What Israel is doing is just to target the offensive capabilities of terrorist organization - HAMAS.

Any monetary compensation to the arab refugees should also address the issue of jewish refugees forcibly expelled from the various arab countries and their properties confiscated during the wars.

As for Jerusalem, it was won in a war by Israel fair and square. Have the Arab won the war, do you think they will be willing to share a single inch of land with Israel? War to the arab will always be a win-win proposition and that should never be the case.
