To construct my first website, I had to learn html, photoshop, illustrator, java, javascript, perl, cold fusion, ftp/ssh protocols and server configuration.

Nowadays people start a facebook account with a few clicks without having a clue regarding what they're actually doing. They then proceed to share the most intimate secrets of themselves and their families with absolute strangers.

Would you hand over a hard copy album of your family photos to an absolute stranger you've never met in your life? That's what you're doing when you upload images of your private life onto facebook. It's absolutely crazy.
