CPF rates unchanged

CPF members will continue to receive an extra 1 per cent interest on the first $60,000 in their Ordinary Account (OA). Those with up to $20,000 in their OA will qualify for this and the extra income will be deposited into the Special Account for retirement use only. In a joint press release from the CPF Board and the HDB, the government also revealed that the Board will continue to pay 2.50 per cent interest per annum for members' CPF savings in their OA from July to September. Meanwhile, the HDB mortgage loan rate also remains unchanged at 2.60 per cent. Members with enquiries may call the CPF Call Centre on 1800-227 1188
