Van driver flees after hitting Toyota MR-S at Ang Mo Kio carpark

SINGAPORE - A van driver was caught on camera hitting a car when it attempted to exit a parking space at an open-air carpark in Ang Mo Kio.
The incident happened to Stomp contributor Edwin's Toyota MR-S on Jan 21, 2014.
According to the contributor, the entire incident was recorded via another driver's in-car camera.
Edwin said:
"An irresponsible van driver hit my car, a Toyota MR-S, which was parked at an open-air carpark located at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 on 21 January, 2014.
"Luckily, the whole incident was recorded by an in-car camera of a witness who provided me with the footage.
"The same set of videos was provided to the Traffic Police a week after the incident, sometime around 26 January, 2014, but they have yet to penalise the errant driver.
"I hope that my videos which actually captured the registration plate of the errant driver (GY5338D) will be made available for all to view online so that they will avoid this irresponsible driver. "
